Legal · draft for review
Terms of service
Last updated 11 October 2026. This is a working draft and will be replaced by solicitor-reviewed terms before public launch.
1. What Takedown Pack does
Takedown Pack helps you find websites that copy or impersonate yours, gathers evidence about them, and prepares reports to the parties who can act (domain registrars, hosting providers, content delivery networks, browser safe-browsing programmes, anti-phishing organisations and search engines). It also monitors reported sites and prepares follow-up messages.
2. You are the sender
Every report is prepared as a draft in your name. Nothing is sent to any third party until a person in your organisation with the appropriate role reviews the exact text, approves it and sends it. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you approve, including the statements that you own or are authorised to act for the rights concerned.
Reports that invoke the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act contain a good-faith statement and a statement made under penalty of perjury. By approving such a report you make those statements yourself. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may expose you to liability.
3. Ownership verification
Before any report can be sent, you must verify control of the primary domain of the brand concerned by adding a record or tag we specify. You must only register brands and domains you own or are authorised to act for.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Takedown Pack to harass, to report sites you know to be legitimate, to interfere with competitors, or to make false statements to any third party. We may suspend accounts used in that way and may cooperate with the parties affected.
5. No guarantee of outcome
Registrars, hosts and other recipients decide independently whether to act. We prepare complete, well-evidenced reports and follow them up, but we do not promise that any site will be suspended, removed or de-listed, or within any particular time.
6. Fees
One-off Takedown Packs are charged per case and include the stated period of rechecks and follow-ups. Subscriptions are charged in advance per billing period and renew until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout. Where a service has not started, refunds are available within 14 days of purchase.
7. Evidence and data
We store copies of the pages we capture as evidence, lookups about the domains concerned, and the reports you approve. Captured pages may contain third-party content; we store it only as evidence and never serve it as a live page. See the privacy notice for personal data.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of registrars, hosts, search engines or other third parties, nor for any loss arising from statements you approve.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
